Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer is a method of praying that prepares us to be silent in order to feel the movement of God in our hearts and souls. It is a time when we seek to let go of our concerns, our busyness, and our anxieties. Rather than using words for praying, we open ourselves to a silence of nothingness, as Father Thomas Keating might say.  We begin our sessions with reflections on a reading we have done during the week.

Centering Prayer meets in the Fellowship Hall on Thursdays at 4:00 pm. If you have an interest, please contact David (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
