The Sunday Adult Education class uses The Present Word, a Bible study published jointly by the Disciple, Presbyterian and Moravian churches. This class has lively discussions and the leadership for teaching is shared. The class meets in the education room at 9:30 am on Sundays.
Starting the first Sunday morning in June at 9:30 AM, our Sunday School class will be reading and discussing the book The Bible Tells Me So by Peter Enns.
These discussions are facilitated by various class members. All are welcome to join!
The book can be purchased from most book retailers and is also available in Kindle format. Class members are purchasing their own copies of the book, but probably the church library will have a few copies available.

Please join us on Sundays to talk about what the Bible tells us!
Fall Contemplative Book Study
This fall we will study John Phillip Newell’s The Rebirthing of God. Newell is seeking to help us “rebirth God” from the Divine that is deep within us. We cannot nor do not create this Divine within. The Divine sits deeply within; we need a deeper relationship with the Divine. Newell seeks to help us reconnect with the earth, compassion, light, our journey, our spiritual practice, nonviolence, the unconscious, and love.
David will be leading two groups. One will be on Mondays at his home, 6:30 p.m., and the other on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. at church. In addition to highlighting the message in each chapter, we will also spend time at the beginning and end of each session in prayer and contemplation.
The book studies will begin on Monday, Sept. 17 and Wednesday, Sept. 19.
